It's not too much like Tetris. That's what I figured too, but I gave it a shot...
It's more like Bust a Move in some senses. You can't control the speed of the drop, it's always instantaneous. But you have to match up 4 of a kind and you can form combos by placing even more groups together, more like Lumines.
It's not a bad game and the adventure mode is a nice touch, but I've already bought a few puzzle games. I have to stop at some point.
